Adult mosquitoes of both sexes eat plant nectars. They're like Ferrari butterflies with razor edged siphons.

Adult female mosquitoes require several blood meals to successfully develop their eggs.

And it seems that their beneficial purpose is pollination of the various flowers they visit to sip their supper.

Seems like a shitty tradeoff for the malaria and den1gue fever, but, at least they're NOT Tsetse flies

But, I digress; if the bees's honey had about 25x the protein, it would roughly match the amound of protein in human blood--with a LOT more sugar!

In order to access the honey, the mosquitoes would prolly need body armor and have their stinger made of some plant version of titanium/carbon fiber.

That means that instead of being like a thousand to a gram, they'd each weigh about a pound and their siphon would look like the business end of a brine injector.

I started out attempting humor. I'm going out now, to see if I can buy a shotgun and some number brazillion birdshot!
